New Family Dog

We just got a new Family Dog!!! Lucky is 1 year old and a rescue dog for some people that were having to move. He is perfect for our family, energetic and tolerant enough for the kids but still lapdog enough for Cindy and I. Oh and the big thing... POTTY TRAINED!!!!

Enjoyed a nice evening out in downtown Chattanooga while photographing a local artist recently. Lee Taylor is a great artist and I know you are really going to love his music.

Oh how my little man loves his photo taken. Thank goodness, it gives me a model to work with. Talk about a chimper though, the second i take the photo he runs to see the back of the camera :)

Finally it's sunny for the afternoon and I have a new 50mm lens to play with. We got the bubbles out and had a little fun yesterday.

Ahhhhh brother and sister just the way it should be..... now loosen that grip a little hon :)

Ok I am going to focus a little more in 2007. I will still photograph families at home and doing what families do. Just cannot drop this fun part :)
But I am going to focus more on 2008 Highschool Seniors and Christian Bands/Musicians. So if you know either or all give me a shout. If you are wanting something really cool to show off to your friends or you need new promo material that is a little different let me know.
I will post up some cool new stuff as I get it in.

Here is one from our weekend night with friends. I had been looking to photograph at this spot for a long time and when we parked the car and turned the corner to the alley guess who was there. The 'Artist' was still working and none to happy to see us. We stopped at the entrance and took this portrait while being eyed by the 'Artist' the whole time. I thought it wouldn't be a good time to ask for a release and we headed out. Hope you enjoy!

My buddy Wes and his kids wanted to go out and get some great portraits before the cooler weather came in. I just love this spot for the view of the lake.

What a great weekend!!! Can't get any better than sharing food with good friends and some photography to remember the whole night. Here are a couple from the session. We traveled all over Chattanooga chasing the light and most of the light went into some good locations.

Just got back from Michigan where I had the opportunity to attend a very intense workshop with photographer Rob Hoffman. This was a great learning opportunity and I just soaked it all in and brought back new ideas and techniques.
After the workshop I had got to take my cousin Zack out to photograph his senior portraits. This kid is amazing and has 'the' look. Between him and what I learned at Rob's workshop, I think these turned out great!
